About

Hello!!
I accidentally lost this section while I was updating to faster servers. It will be restored very soon!
This was last updated on 10/2017 –

For Readers:
Welcome! We hope you find an amazing book thru our network. I made the site as user friendly as possible. If you have any questions you can contact me anytime. I want you to have an easy experience when finding your next book to read. Why are you still reading this? You should be looking for your next book! 🙂

For Authors:

Facebook is an awesome place to connect with new people and it also offers the chance to discover new products and services.

I followed a link posted on Facebook recently and I ended up on I Like E-Books, a site dedicated to showcasing authors and their books. While there are certainly a lot of these kinds of sites scattered across the internet, there was just something I liked about this one.

After scrolling through several pages I decided to use their service to promote one of my own books, Echoes in Time. For the (very reasonable) sum of USD $19.99 (prices start at just $4.99) I subscribed to the Mega Promotion which includes:

  • Lifetime Submission

  • Author Interview

  • Multiple Category Inclusion

  • Book Cover Upload

  • Posting to 60 Facebook Groups

  • Two Twitter Tweets

  • Four Book Mock-ups (these are fantastic – more on these soon)

  • One month feature on the Front Page

  • One month sponsored Banner

  • Inclusion in the Friday Newsletter

What a bargain! I’m very happy with this package and my book is already on display on the website.

I contacted Jason, the man behind the site, and he kindly granted me an interview. He told me that he had started the site approximately three years’ ago and has built it up since then into the website you see today. Jason advised me that he was a 9/11 World Trade Center responder and as a result of this traumatic experience he now suffers seizures and PTSD. He lives with his service dog (FunGoo) and he created the website as he did not leave his home for over a year, during which time all he did was read. The website’s aim is to introduce authors to readers, and to support his service dog (check out FunGoo’s handsome little face in the banner above).

A component of the service Jason offers includes the book mock-ups I spoke of earlier. Jason takes your book cover and creates four book images with it which you are free to use in promotions or marketing campaigns. One of these is featured on my landing page and another example is here:

I told you they were amazing!

All in all, I can highly recommend I Like e-Books. Jason responds promptly to questions and the site is professionally managed. Thanks, Jason!
