  1. When did realize that you wanted to be an author?

I realized I wanted to be an author when I shared with my husband the many ways that we demonstrate love to each other, which resulted in even more closeness, warmth, and passion between us.  I knew right then and there that spreading ways for people to enjoy more love—of loving themselves and others—was my mission to be a messenger of hope and love.

  1. How long does it take for you to write one of your books?

The time varies.  Sometimes, it can be as short as a few months…or as in the case of Daily Affirmations for Love:  365 Days of Love in Thought and Action, it took many years as our love grew and our family transformed in the myriad ways of demonstrating affection.

  1. How do you balance your work schedule when you’re busy writing?

I usually write in the evenings when our home is quiet and I’m free from disturbances.  The time is often filled with immense gratitude that promotes a “flow” of thoughts.  I devote my days to the many clients who energize me and provide ample motivation and inspiration for my writings.

  1. What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?

My most interesting writing quirk is a stream of consciousness, of thinking of messages that I might pass on to my clients or my family; messages of wisdom I want the world to know!

  1. How do you come up with ideas for your books?

I believe I am a conduit of love, a blessing from God. I am so grateful for the life that I live I actually look for miracles in each day, and want to share these with others.  I believe there is a silver lining in the various hardship and challenges that we go through because at the end, if we persevere, we are gifted with new awareness, skills, compassion, love, and even more abundance.

  1. When did you write your first book?

I wrote my first book, Daily Affirmations for Love:  365 Days of Love in Thought and Action in 2012.

  1. What are your hobbies when you’re not writing?

I love to golf, snorkel, swim… and enjoy the outdoors, marveling at the splendor of nature. I also love to snuggle with my sweetheart and watch sports as we root for our favorite teams. You can also find my husband and me spending considerable time having “championship” Scrabble matches against each other!

  1. What does your family and close friends think of your writing?

My family and friends are my biggest fans and think that my messages need to be seen and heard throughout the world.

  1. What was one of the most interesting things that you learned about yourself when you published your first book?

I learned that the old saying of “you must first love yourself before you can love another” is completely true.  I realized my whole life has been devoted to overcoming shame and fully loving myself to create an EXTRAordinary self and life so I could freely and deeply love others.

  1. How many books have you written? Which one is your favorite?

I have written two books and have been the contributing author in four more.  My favorite is still Daily Affirmations for Love— from whose pages each day’s thoughts and actions uplift and remind me to ACT on Love daily to those around me.

  1. What do you think makes a good story?

A great story has the personality and voice of the author who is authentic, real, and shares an important message.

  1. Where do you like to kick back and write your books?

 My favorite place to write is at my desk, looking out at the mountains, and the flora and fauna around me.  I am surrounded by total serenity and beauty… how could I not be inspired and grateful?  Yes, my life is a miracle!
